Below is a maintenance checklist.

Other items will be checked to make sure unit is working safely, properly and to ensure your unit is working at its best capacity. 

 

Customer will be advised if additional parts and Freon is needed to prevent damage of equipment or property for safety purposes.

Spring/Summer

Blow out condensate drain lines

Inspect and test safety switches and controls

Check freon charge

Check thermostat operation

Inspect evaporator coil (extra charge for cleaning)

Change filter with customer provided filter

Inspect blower operation and controls

Check voltage and amperage drew on motors

Inspect condensing coils (extra charge for cleaning)

Fall/Winter

Heat

Check charge by subcooling

Check contactor and all electrical components

Check amperage draw on compressor and motors

Check reversing valve for correct operation

Check thermostat operation

Inspect evaporator coil (extra charge for cleaning)

Change filter with customer provided filter

Check defrost controls for coorect operation

Check condensing coils (extra charge for cleaning)

Lubricate all motors if needed

Check amperage draw on blower

Gas

Check for cracks in heat exchanger

Check gas pressure (adjust if needed)

Check venting

Check thermocouple for correct operation

Check blower operation

Inspect all eletrical components

Change filter with customer provided filter

Check burners and flame

Check heat exchanger (extra charge for cleaning rust)

Lubricate all motors if needed

Check amerage draw on blower

 

Electric

(Includes all above checks and the following)

Check heat strips operation

Check sequencers and contractors

Check amerage draw on heat strips
